Privacy Policy

Working with Epilepsy, Inc. ("WwE," "we," "us") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We are funded by grants and donations — not by monetizing your data. We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers, employers, or any third party for commercial purposes.

Account data: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. You may use any name or pseudonym you choose.

Community content: Posts, comments, and messages you share in community spaces are stored to enable the community experience. Content in the Vent Space is displayed under your auto-generated pseudonym.

Tool data: Our interactive tools run entirely in your browser. We never see, store, or transmit the health or personal information you enter into these tools.

Journal entries: Private journal entries are encrypted client-side before storage. We cannot read them. Only you hold the decryption key.

We do not require a work email. Community content is not indexed by search engines. You control your display name and can change it at any time. We have no mechanism for employers to identify members, and we never will.
